  • What do you think Einstein had to do with the atomic bomb and its development. If you have any idea about this, where did you learn it?
  • What and when was the Manhattan Project? Where was the bulk of the work on that project done? Who was Fermi? Who was Oppenheiner?
  • What extremely familiar process converts mass into other forms of energy, notably heat and motion?
  • What is the structure of the atom?
  • The protons in the nucleus are positively charged. Why don't they fly apart?
  • Name the four fundamental forces of nature.
  • What makes starlight?
  • What is meant by "atom splitting?"
