- Describe two kinds of experiment in which the clock slowdown has been confirmed, one "gross" and one "tiny," though the tiny one takes much more apparatus and money and energy to perform.
- How is a magnetic field used in an accelerator?
- What is gamma for the TV electron? As astronaut? An electron at the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC)? A cosmic ray proton?
- How long does the 2-mile long SLAC appear to an electron in the accelerator?
- There are two ways to name Einstein's theory, relativity and invariants. What does each name remind you of about the weirdness of the second postulate of relativity?
