think about these

  • In an elevator, you feel something different in terms of weight when you accelerate up or down, from when you travel at a constant velocity between the starting and stopping accelerations. Describe that feeling.
  • What do you weigh if you are in free fall?
  • What is the shortest route between two places on the earth called? Airplanes follow this path.
  • What does the spacetime worldline for acceleration look like?
  • Define kinematics and dynamics.
  • State Galileo's Principle of Inertia, then Newton's First Law.
