- About how many atoms are in a piece of material the size of your hand?
- Why does electric current flow in some materials but not others?
- Have you heard of "solid state" devices? semiconductors? transistors? diodes? chips? If you have, do you have any idea why?
- Why is Silicon Valley in California called that?
- What does binary mean? Can you give an example to illustrate the meaning?
- What choices do radiotherapists have of type of radiation to use for treating cancer? How do they decide which to use?
