LECTURE 7
goals and outline
lecture title
lecture goals
-
Understand the foundation of dynamics, the study of the causes of changes in motion, also called forces. This is probably the single most important concept in physics.
-
Learn Newton's three laws of motion, or laws of dynamics, or force laws.
-
Understand how momentum feeds into the three force laws, all of which can be written in terms of momentum.
-
Understand simple examples of the above, especially some fun analyses of human motion and use of forces.
outline of lecture

2. Force Defined
3. Force is a Mutual Interaction
4. Law 2 Applied to Humans
